Inherencies

There are those who are incapable

Of seeing past life’s façade drapes

That we all decorate with- daily

Our self-projection as a person

Albeit some are overly remodeled

To avoid that look of antiquated

While others will never seem kept

Proof they’ve been trodden upon

Yet, few understand this purpose

Is protecting what’s even better

Deep down inside liken a treasure

Where precious time is best spent

Value not meant to be so obvious

To the many fixated …on dressings

  1. No surprise as I read your beautiful poetry that scripture came to mind. (1 Samuel 16:7). God is not impressed with the outward appearance as man is. People seldom dress for self, but for each other. God looks at the hidden treasure within our heart. Blessings Always.
