From time to time

It seems almost, as if

Her words have conspired

With ink and parchment

To catch me, unsuspecting

As my eyes blur and betray

By refusing to look away

In time, to save my sanity

Whilst their complied meanings

Race throughout my veins

Like some hypnotic toxin in chase

Of my fleeting heartbeats

That bequeaths my vivid dreams

I begin to imagine her

Every distinctive feature

Silky scent and moist lips

The way a keen artist would seek

Replicating every line, curve

Whispers of a Gypsy angel

Perfected tone of colors

Until I’m left, nearly breathless

Lost in the depths of her eyes

As her complete… junkie
