Feverish

At first, I felt cold chills rampant

Rushing through my veins

As sure as if it were really happening

Fire in my soul folded in half

Fear swathed me like a sheet

It was like a back smoke-filled room

Pillowy clouds evolving but silence

Oh, and I- lay trembling

I could see a curious blurring

Until I saw you through the haze

Then everything was clear as day

And your smile brightened things

A bit more than usual

Radiating your warmth my way

Sun and moon danced above meadows

Normal never felt so beautiful

And for a moment it was like I awaken

From a bad spell of something

Life was like it used to be

And the dark shadows fell away

I could finally breathe- once again

As if, my soul was in heaven… visiting
