Lonesome rider

I live in a timeless state of being

Running to where I’ve never been

Nothing to wind up

And no alarm needing to be set

Heartaches keep calling

But I won’t answer back

My heart hurts enough alone

When I’m conscious enough to know

Memories are my moons

Gifting all the light, I need

Cause by morning I’m too drunk to see

There’s no place worth leaving

If only, there was a train

To help me escape…me

  1. Unless it is a fast train to nowhere. I remember trains. Wonderful travels. wonderful memories. Not that long ago. Time fades and speeds away too fast.
