It can seem obsessive to others

To long for each first snowfall

Especially later- after midnight

Go out and stand it, be covered

One unique snowflake at a time

Until I fully disappear in winter

Camouflaged within plain sight

I guess my fogy warm breathes

May seem as my only weakness

But if the flurries are hard enough

No one would be paying attention

As my exhales swirl like tiny wisps

Of blowing snow in gusty winds

She was love… as her own season
