Unequivical

Striking dark is delicately alighted

Like a tree bare in a soft moonlight

Your silhouette becomes alluring

I’m smitten like a rebellious child

Unrestrained dream sets the stage

Fog slips through limbs and leaves

Moisture rises with my temperature

I toss and turn on wrinkled sheets

I’m drawn beyond my own power

As I slip deeper under wispy fabric

Venturing past my known limits

I show no pause nor gift me mercy

A hidden truth in whispers I utter

Your name from my heart’s…desire

      1. But as my old english teacher said once to me, each individual will potray the poems they read differently. So far, I can sense desires mixed with realization within the poem you just wrote. It made it clear, the persona is getting dreams that overshadows his real true wantings. Well, that is what I understood after reading the poem you just posted
