Culturized

At times life is like a time warp

Dissuading truth or any proof

Where love is treated as a virus

In the midst of unchanging minds

Long after the seasons grew old

And all but my heart moves on

As if recklessness is an antidote

Handed out on dark street corners

To alienish people in frozen tablets

Most of the time I’m just a shadow

Waiting for real tangible substance

That doesn’t utter stale platitudes

Planning carefully for love’s demise

Instead of love’s… ultimate promise
