Silent crush

Let me, most innocuously

Blend into the mountainside

Like a blade within tall grasses

Not too tall or short, pale, or dark

That surrenders to gentle hands

Of a caring, attentive disposition

Caressing even my inner essence

Let me- if you should really dare

Bask in seasonal warm weather

Before and after cool brief showers

Long before bold stary nights fall

So, I can childishly gaze for hours

In wonderment of our universe

As if I’m falling into … your heart

      1. Ahhh reads like that all too familure phrase I often use to respond enough, for the sake of responding but secretly wishing I was doing better so I could brag a little. I hope all is well for you.

      2. Hahahahah…..In my case, there’s always too much to share, so I keep it short. Hehe.

It’s soothing to read your poems. There was a spell when you weren’t posting much but now I see you’ve got time to write. Keep sharing!
