It’s brazened and extremely evil
The way grief creeps into our lives
Only to extinguish love before us
It’s terrifying- losing a loved one
Knowing within our broken hearts
There’s really nothing we can do
Nothing within our fixed power
To undo, the vast wreckage we feel
In our minds, souls, or lost words
We gag and choke on its sour truth
Longing to save a part of our heart
Because we’re lesser- without them
Guilt yokes us in an apathetic fashion
Adding to our raw bleeding… wounds

Ascribe
Where flight became stalled
Because fear stood its ground
There- is where I- was reborn
Where I relearned my reality
As broken fragments of a self
Where I’ve seen the unveilings
Of time, truth, and Holy love
Where angels cried and wept
For my salvation and healing
And I- wept along with them
Where fire seared my mission
Forged into my soul as passion
A combatant for the wounded
Of humanities silenced…truths

Such a part of living, but it is honestly a cruel part. But yet we must keep going and know they are in our hearts and nothing and no one can take that away. From you. Hugs, my dear friend.❤️

Suffocating, indeed! To change what you can’t, to turn back time, but it stands still… your breath! Know it well, lost my daughter and younger brother, this year! A wonderful share!
