Trails of trials

Photo by Ben Mack on Pexels.com
Unabashedly tears would seep alone
And take with each- dust of my soul
Under dying stars, I have whispered to
With steadfast prayers I've sent to you
Trusting you’ve heard my horsed words
Treading inwardly to find the answers
There’re times when my battered frame
Feels more like some indentured slave
Carrying my tattered heart and mind
Throughout some peripatetic lifestyle
As I instinctively transient to and fro
For loving rest in arms called … home
