Surfeited

My bare lips, whispered dry

Like my fluttered heart

Thou I thirst in silence

I have no visceral taste

Nor time- for temporary

Should love decide to come

It must come without eloquence

Prepared to die, for loves sake

The way war mongers come to conquer

In a thundering approach, fearless

Epitomizing all its natural state

Unabashedly stealing my heart

Almost as if taken from my chest

Accepting each breath, may be the last

The way a harsh blizzard, blankets

Enveloping my soul beneath itself

Saving me from a lost venture-less

Becoming my only living universe

And I- relishing as its only dependent

Where all I desire…is already present
