Dares be damned

I thirstily stood at a precipice cliff

Every-time I looked into your eyes

And my foolish heart impulsively

Decided to step over its airy threshold

SinceI’ve bled the shards of my heart

Until they’ve flowed stream into a river

That then broke messily into an ocean

Where I stand alone-cold- bewildered

Why did you really stop loving me?

Why couldn’t our loves truth remain?

Why does every heartbeat now hurt?

For you, I risked all of me, daringly

If only- I could really walk across

This sea, of all I once was…to freedom
