Dark red moonlight
Ripples- never end
In these silent waters
I feel them crashing
Her salty whispers
Seep in my wounds
Make me want her
More than I should do
Still I must draw within
As my lips quiver- blue
I sat under the same sun
For one too many days
But I don’t care- I’ll wait
For her soothing words
Of rouge wet lips so appear
Arriving in just in time
And quench my thirst
Before the last tide out
Upon these silent ripples
That still- hold her image
In cloudy eyes taking me…home
