Innateness

You say: I’m too rigid, unresponsive

I fail to meet you at your perspective

You continue to demand that I bend

While I’m simply resisting- breaking

I’m a circle, you’re a box far too tiny

I say; stop projecting; look in a mirror

Least I lay on the ground shattered

Or conformed into silence, let me…be
