Swept

I fall into loves hoped presence

The way Cherry blossoms fall

Slowly from their lives of branches

Unexpectedly and all at once

Twisting, twirling, in slow motion

On a breath of seemingly nothing

Landing in a swift pool far beneath

Totally drenched; in over my head

Whisked away on watery ripples

Bound to someplace promising

Making me childish; the fall exciting

All those things making love seem

Scary, unending and yet…perfect
